The man on the road continued to wave a warning.

Trembling with fear, the Tang Monk fell from his horse.
唐僧吓得浑身发抖，从马上摔了下来。
Wujing rushed over to help him stand up.
吴京冲过去扶他站起来。
"I'll be right back," said Wukong.
悟空说：“我马上回来。”
"I'll ask that man what sort of danger is up ahead."
“我去问问那个人，前面有什么危险。”
The monkey walked toward the man.
猴子向那个人走去。
Looking closely, Wukong could tell that he was not an ordinary man.
仔细看，悟空可以看出他不是一个普通人。
"Hello, Venus," said Wukong with a smile.
“你好，金星，”悟空笑着说。
The man smiled back.
男人回以微笑。
"Yes, it's me, the spirit of the planet Venus.
“是的，是我，金星星球的精灵。
I came in disguise to warn you, Wukong.
悟空，我乔装打扮来警告你。
There are three powerful demons on the mountain up ahead.
前面的山上有三只强大的恶魔。
The first is a lion demon.
第一个是狮妖。
The second is an elephant demon.
第二个是象妖。
And the third is a raptor demon."
第三个是猛禽恶魔。”
The monkey shrugged.
猴子耸耸肩。
"Thanks for the warning, Venus.
“谢谢你的警告，维纳斯。
But I'm not worried about three silly demons."
但我不担心三个愚蠢的恶魔。”
Venus shook his head.
维纳斯摇了摇头。
"You should be worried.
“你应该担心。
The three demons command a demon army."
三只魔头指挥着一支魔军。”
Wukong rubbed his chin.
悟空揉了揉下巴。
"Once again, thank you for the warning.
“再次感谢你的警告。
But even an entire army of demons doesn't worry me."
但就算是一整支恶魔大军，我也不担心。”
Venus nodded. "Very well, Wukong. Good luck!"
维纳斯点点头。“很好，悟空。祝你好运！”
The spirit vanished.
灵魂消失了。
The monkey walked back to his companions.
猴子走回他的同伴身边。
"Well?" said Bajie. "What did the man say?
“嗯？”八姐说。“那个人说了什么？
Is there danger up ahead?"
前面有危险吗？”
"Are there demons?" asked the Tang Monk, still scared.
“有魔鬼吗？”唐僧仍然害怕地问道。
"Actually, yes," said Wukong.
“实际上，是的，”悟空说。
"There's an army of demons.
“有一支恶魔大军。
But I'm not worried."
但我不担心。”
The Tang Monk's jaw dropped.
唐僧的下巴掉了下来。
"How can you not be worried?"
“你怎么能不担心？”
Wukong laughed. "Master, have you forgotten?
悟空笑道。“师父，你忘了吗？
I once defeated Heaven's entire army."
我曾经打败过天堂的全军。”
Wujing frowned. "Yes, we all know about that, Wukong.
悟空皱了皱眉。“是的，我们都知道，悟空。
But this is different.
但这是不同的。
The Tang Monk is with us—we must keep him safe."
唐僧和我们在一起，我们必须保护他的安全。”
Bajie nodded. "Yes, and I'd like to be safe too."
八戒点点头。“是的，我也希望安全。”
Wukong sighed. "You're right.
悟空叹了口气。“你说得对。
We can't let the demons harm Master."
我们不能让恶魔伤害主人。”
He gave a sideways glance at Bajie and smirked.
他侧眸看了八戒一眼，得意一笑。
"Or the pig."
"或者猪"
Bajie snorted.
八戒哼了一声。
"You all wait here," said Wukong.
悟空说：“你们都在这里等着。”
"I'll check out the mountain to see how big the demon army is."
“我去山上看看，看看魔族大军有多大。”
The monkey flew to the mountain.
猴子飞到山上。
Several demons were talking in front of a cave.
几个恶魔在一个山洞前说话。
They were dressed like military officers.
他们穿得像军官。
Wukong spied on them from behind a rock.
悟空从一块石头后面窥探他们。
"The Tang Monk will be coming over our mountain soon," said a demon general.
“唐僧很快就会翻过我们的山。”一个魔将说道。
"Our leaders want all the troops to watch for him."
“我们的领导人希望所有部队都注意他。”
"I hope we catch the Tang Monk," said a captain.
“我希望我们能抓住唐僧，”一名船长说。
"I've heard that anyone who eats him will live forever."
“听说吃了他的人都能长生不老。”
Wukong was furious.
悟空大怒。
"How dare they plan to eat Master!"
“居然敢吃师父！”
The demons were still talking.
恶魔们还在说话。
"But who will get to eat the monk?" asked another captain.
“但是谁来吃和尚呢？”另一个船长问道。
"There are thousands of troops in our army."
“我们军队有几千人。”
"We'll all get to eat him," said the general.
“我们都可以吃了他，”将军说。
"Our leaders promised to share him with the entire army."
“我们的领导人承诺与整个军队分享他。”
The other officers nodded and smiled.
其他军官点头微笑。
"That was very kind of our leaders," said a captain.
“我们的领导人真是太好了，”一名上尉说。
"We must be careful though," warned the general.
“不过，我们必须小心，”将军警告说。
"Why?" asked a colonel.
“为什么？”一个上校问。
"The monk is just a man.
“和尚只是一个人。
He can't possibly stop us."
他不可能阻止我们。”
"I've heard that the Tang Monk isn't alone," said the general.
“我听说唐僧不是一个人。”将军说。
"Sun Wukong is with him."
“孙悟空和他在一起。”
Everyone grew quiet.
所有人都安静下来。
"He's the spirit who defeated Heaven's entire army," whispered a captain.
“他是打败天堂全军的精灵，”一个上尉低声说。
Another captain nodded.
另一位队长点了点头。
"He is quite powerful."
“他挺厉害的。”
Wukong beamed proudly when he heard that.
悟空听到这话，得意地笑了。
"Don't worry about Sun Wukong," said the general.
“别担心孙悟空，”将军说。
"Just tell the troops to watch for the Tang Monk."
“叫部队注意唐僧就行了。”
"Yes, General," said the colonel.
“是的，将军，”上校说。
"I have an idea," thought Wukong.
“我有个主意，”悟空想。
The monkey made himself look like a demon general.
猴子让自己看起来像一个恶魔将军。
Then he stepped out from behind the rock and hurried over to the officers.
然后他从岩石后面走出来，急忙向军官们走去。
"I have good news!" shouted Wukong.
“我有好消息！”悟空喊道。
"The Tang Monk is heading toward our mountain!"
“唐僧朝我们山上去了！”
