Wukong was furious.
悟空大怒。
"The Bull Demon King tricked me!"
“牛魔王骗了我！”
The monkey rushed back to the cave and smashed the door. <font color="#ffff00"><i>Crash!</i></font>
猴子冲回山洞，砸了门。<foncolor="#ffff00"><i>撞车！</i></fon>
The Bull Demon King ran outside.
牛魔王跑到外面。
"You villain!" he shouted. "You destroyed my door!"
“你这个恶棍！”他喊道。“你毁了我的门！”
"Give me that fan right now!" yelled Wukong.
“马上把扇子给我！”悟空喊道。
"Or I'll destroy the rest of your mountain!"
“不然我就毁了你剩下的山！”
"Never!" said the demon.
“绝不！”恶魔说。
Wukong charged toward the demon.
悟空冲向恶魔。
<font color="#ffff00"><i>Poof!</i></font> The demon turned into a crane and flew away.
<foncolor="#ffff00"><i>噗！恶魔化作鹤飞走了。
"He's not the only one who can turn into other animals," thought the monkey.
“他不是唯一能变成其他动物的人，”猴子想。
Wukong turned into a phoenix and shot after the crane.
悟空化作凤凰，在鹤后开枪。
With his claws out, he swooped down at the crane.
他伸出爪子，猛扑向起重机。
The crane dipped lower and Wukong missed.
起重机下降，悟空失手了。
When Wukong looked back, the crane was gone.
悟空回头一看，仙鹤不见了。
"Where did he go?" thought Wukong.
“他去哪儿了？”悟空想。
He looked down and saw an antelope grazing in a field. "That's him!"
他低头一看，一只羚羊正在田野里吃草。“就是他！”
Wukong landed and turned into a tiger.
悟空落地，变成了老虎。
He crept through the tall grass.
他爬过高高的草丛。
When he got close to the antelope, he leaped.
当他靠近羚羊时，他跳了起来。
Light flashed, and the antelope turned into a huge white bull.
光芒一闪，羚羊变成了一头巨大的白色公牛。
The bull flew up into the sky, and Wukong followed.
公牛飞向天空，悟空紧随其后。
He had almost caught up to the bull, when he heard a shout.
他几乎追上了公牛，这时他听到一声喊叫。
"Stand back, Wukong!"
“悟空，退后！”
It was a soldier from Heaven.
那是来自天堂的士兵。
"The Jade Emperor sent us to help you."
“是玉皇大帝派我们来帮你的。”
More soldiers rushed toward the bull.
更多的士兵冲向公牛。
With a snort, the bull spun around and flew the other way.
公牛哼了一声，转过身去，朝另一个方向飞去。
But other soldiers appeared and blocked the bull's path.
但是其他士兵出现了，挡住了公牛的去路。
Wukong watched as soldiers surrounded the bull.
悟空看着士兵们包围了公牛。
They moved in closer, their swords and spears all pointed at the bull.
他们靠得更近了，他们的剑和矛都指向了公牛。
The Bull Demon King returned to his demon form.
牛魔王回到了他的恶魔形态。
"Please, don't hurt me!"
“请不要伤害我！”
The Iron Immortal was rushing toward the soldiers.
铁仙正在冲向士兵。
"Don't harm my husband!" she cried.
“不要伤害我丈夫！”她喊道。
"He didn't mean to be evil!"
“他不是故意作恶的！”
One soldier lowered his sword.
一名士兵放下了剑。
"We won't harm you if you're truly sorry for being evil.
“如果你真的为自己的邪恶感到抱歉，我们不会伤害你。
But right now you're stopping the Tang Monk from continuing his journey.
但是现在你阻止了唐僧继续他的旅程。
Sun Wukong needs your fan."
孙悟空需要你的扇子。”
The Iron Immortal handed the fan to the soldier.
铁仙将扇子递给士兵。
"Here's the fan," she said.
“这是风扇，”她说。
"We are truly sorry.
“我们真的很抱歉。
My husband and I will be good Buddhists from now on.
我和我的丈夫从现在开始要做一个好佛教徒。
Just please, don't hurt us."
请不要伤害我们。”
The soldier looked at the Bull Demon King.
士兵看向牛魔王。
The demon nodded. "We promise."
恶魔点点头。“我们保证。”
"Very well," said the soldier.
“很好，”士兵说。
"You two may return to your cave.
“你们两个可以回自己的洞穴了。
But you must stay out of trouble from now on."
不过从现在开始，你一定不要惹麻烦。”
The demon and his wife bowed and left.
恶魔和他的妻子鞠躬离开了。
The soldier handed the fan to Wukong.
士兵把扇子递给悟空。
"It's good that you'll be the one to put out the Mountain of Flames, Wukong."
“悟空，你来扑灭火焰山就好。”
Wukong was confused. "Why?"
悟空疑惑。“为什么？”
"You're the one who caused the fire," said the soldier.
“是你引起的火灾，”士兵说。
"It was when Laozi tried to burn you up in his pot.
“那是老子想把你烧死在锅里的时候。
You leaped out of the pot, disturbing the fire in his workroom.
你从锅里跳出来，扰乱了他工作室的炉火。
A burning ember fell to Earth that day and started the fire on the mountain."
那天，一团燃烧的余烬落在了地球上，点燃了山上的火。"
Wukong looked at the fan.
悟空看着扇子。
"I'll be happy to put out the fire."
“我很乐意灭火。”
Wukong returned to the village.
悟空回到了村子里。
The Tang Monk and his companions were at the old man's house again.
唐僧和他的同伴又来到了老人家。
Once again they thanked the man and followed the road up the hill.
他们再次感谢了那个人，然后沿着这条路上山。
At the top they looked at the Mountain of Flames.
在山顶，他们看着火焰山。
Wukong lifted the fan and waved it. <font color="#ffff00"><i>Whoosh!</i></font>
悟空举起扇子挥了挥。<foncolor="#ffff00"><i>嗖！</i></fon>
Instantly the fire went out.
火立刻灭了。
The air cooled down, and Wukong saw the valley start to turn green.
空气冷却下来，悟空看到山谷开始变绿。
Leaves grew on trees, and small flowers popped up here and there.
树叶长在树上，到处都是小花。
Birds sang in the branches as other animals ran through the grass.
鸟儿在树枝上歌唱，其他动物在草地上奔跑。
Wukong smiled.
悟空笑了。
He had done evil things a long time ago.
他很久以前就做了坏事。
Now he was fixing them.
现在他正在修理它们。
