Bajie climbed back out, coughing.

Wujing came up next, pulling the horse behind him.
吴京下一个上来，把马拉在身后。
"Where's the Tang Monk?" cried Wukong.
悟空叫道：“唐僧呢？”
Below the ice the Tang Monk struggled as the demon carried him deep underwater.
在冰下，当恶魔把唐僧带到水下深处时，唐僧挣扎着。
The demon laughed.
恶魔笑了。
"You all fell for my trick!
“你们都上当了！
I froze the river and waited for you to cross it.
我把河冻住了，等着你过河。
Once you were above me, I cracked the ice open.
一旦你在我上面，我就把冰打开了。
As soon as your friends leave, I will eat you and live forever!"
你的朋友一走，我就吃了你，长生不老！”
They arrived at a palace.
他们来到了一座宫殿。
A sign over the door read "Residence of the River Turtle."

The demon went inside and locked the monk in a stone box.
恶魔走进去，把和尚锁在一个石盒子里。
Up on the ice, Wukong paced back and forth.
悟空在冰上来回踱步。
"The ice didn't crack by accident," said the monkey.
“冰不是偶然裂开的，”猴子说。
"I'm sure it was the demon.
“我确定是恶魔。
The demon probably caused this strange cold weather too."
这种奇怪的寒冷天气，估计也是恶魔造成的。”
He made a fist.
他握紧了拳头。
"I can't believe we fell for his trick!
“我不敢相信我们上当了！
We must save the Tang Monk!"
一定要把唐僧救出来！”
Wukong stopped pacing and looked at his companions.
悟空停下了踱步，看着同伴们。
"My powers aren't very strong underwater.
“我在水下的力量不是很强。
You two must go down there and get the demon to come back up.
你们两个必须下去让恶魔回来。
I'll surprise him."
我会给他一个惊喜。”
Wujing and Bajie nodded and dived into the river.
吴京和八戒点了点头，潜入河中。
They soon spotted a palace.
他们很快发现了一座宫殿。
Wujing read the sign over the door:

"Residence of the River Turtle.
“河龟的住所。
I wonder if the demon is in here."
不知道恶魔在不在这里。”
Bajie knocked on the door.
八戒敲了敲门。
"Open up!" he shouted.
“开门！”他喊道。
The door opened, and the demon stepped out.
门开了，恶魔走了出来。
He was holding a large hammer.
他拿着一把大锤子。
"What do you want?" he asked.
“你想要什么？”他问道。
"Did you kidnap our master?" asked Wujing.
“你绑架了我们的主人吗？”吴京问道。
"Yes," said the demon. "And I plan to eat him.

Now go away!"

The demon tried to close the door, but Wujing stopped the door with his spear.
恶魔试图关上门，但吴京用长矛挡住了门。
The demon moved toward him.
恶魔向他移动。
Bajie's rake came crashing down.

Fish and other creatures fled as the three spirits fought.

After a few minutes, Bajie pretended to be scared.

He swam upward, and Wujing soon followed.
他游了上去，吴京很快也跟着游了上去。
"Cowards!" called the demon, swimming after them toward the surface.

The demon jumped out of the water and onto the ice.

Wukong was waiting for him.

The monkey swung his iron bar.

The demon ducked.

Weapons clashed as the spirits fought on the breaking ice.

The demon hit Bajie's legs.
恶魔击中了八戒的双腿。
"Whoa!" cried the pig.
“哇！”猪叫道。
He slid across the ice and slammed into Wujing.
他滑过冰面，撞上了吴京。
"Oof!" The purple spirit slipped and fell.
“嗷！”紫灵滑落。
"Ha!" The demon laughed and dived back under the ice.
“哈！”恶魔笑了笑，潜回冰下。
Bajie and Wujing stood back up.
八戒和无精站了起来。
"The demon escaped," said the pig.
“恶魔逃走了，”猪说。
"We must stop him before he eats the Tang Monk," said Wukong.
悟空说：“我们必须在他吃掉唐僧之前阻止他。”
"Go back down there and try to lead him up here again."
“你下去，再把他引上来。”
Wujing and Bajie dived into the river.
吴京和八戒跳进河里。
When they reached the palace, they found a huge pile of rocks blocking the door.
当他们到达宫殿时，他们发现一大堆石头挡住了门。
Bajie struck the rocks with his rake.
八戒用他的耙敲岩石。
The rake bounced off the rock pile.
耙从石堆上反弹回来。
The rocks didn't move at all.
岩石根本没有移动。
Wujing stabbed at the rocks with his spear.
吴京用长矛刺向岩石。
Again, the rocks didn't move.
同样，岩石没有移动。
"What kind of rocks are these?" cried the pig.
“这些是什么石头？”猪叫道。
"Maybe they're held in place with magic," said Wujing.

They returned to the surface of the river and told Wukong about the rocks.

The monkey sighed.

"We need Guanyin's help."
