Wukong landed on another mountain peak.

"Ah-choo!" The monkey groaned.
“阿嚏！”猴子呻吟着。
"That fire and smoke were awful!
“那火和烟太可怕了！
And the sand went right in—ah-ah-choo!—my nose."

He looked at the Demon of Power's mountain.
他看着力量之魔的山。
The fire and smoke were now gone.
火和烟现在都不见了。
Wukong was about to return to that mountain.
悟空就要回到那座山上了。
But then he hesitated.
但后来他犹豫了。
"The demon will just use the same trick again," thought the monkey.
“恶魔会再次使用同样的把戏，”猴子想。
"I'll sneak into his cave and look around.
“我潜入他的洞穴，四处看看。
Maybe I can find out how he created the fire, smoke, and sand."
也许我能知道他是如何制造火、烟和沙子的。”
Wukong turned into a bug and flew back to the demon's mountain.
悟空化作bug，飞回了恶魔的山。
He went into the cave and flew down a long, dark tunnel.
他走进山洞，飞进一条又长又黑的隧道。
He soon found a brightly lit bedroom filled with nice furniture and fancy decorations.
他很快找到了一间灯火通明的卧室，里面摆满了漂亮的家具和精美的装饰。
In a corner a woman sat in a chair.
一个女人坐在角落的椅子上。
She was crying.
她在哭。
<font color="#ffff00"><i>Poof!</i></font> Wukong turned back into himself.
<foncolor="#ffff00"><i>噗！悟空变回了自己。
"Oh!" cried the woman. "Wh-who are you?"
“哦！”女人叫道。“你是谁？”
"My name is Sun Wukong," said the monkey.
“我叫孙悟空，”猴子说。
"Are you the queen?"
“你是女王吗？”
The woman nodded.
女子点了点头。
"Your husband sent me to rescue you," said Wukong.
悟空说：“你丈夫派我来救你。”
The queen's face broke into a smile.
王后的脸上露出了笑容。
"Oh, please do!
“哦，请吧！
The demon who kidnapped me is horrible—nasty, ugly, smelly!"
绑架我的恶魔太可怕了——肮脏、丑陋、臭！”
The queen shivered.
王后瑟瑟发抖。
"He said he loves me and wants to . . . m-marry me!"
"他说他爱我，想 . . . 嫁给我！"
The queen started to cry again.
王后又哭了起来。
"Don't worry, Your Majesty," said Wukong.
“别担心，陛下，”悟空说。
"I'll defeat the demon.
“我要打败恶魔。
But first I must figure out how he creates the fire, smoke, and sand."
但首先我必须弄清楚他是如何制造火、烟和沙子的。"
"That's simple." The queen sniffed.
“这很简单。”王后嗅了嗅。
"He has three bells.
“他有三个铃铛。
The first bell makes fire.
第一个铃铛生火。
The second bell makes smoke.
第二个铃铛冒烟。
And the third bell makes sand."
第三个钟声制造沙子。"
"I saw the bells," said Wukong.
悟空说：“我看到铃铛了。”
"He wears them around his neck."

The monkey smiled.
猴子笑了。
"You wait here, Your Majesty.

Tonight I'll steal those bells from the demon.
今晚我要从恶魔那里偷走那些铃铛。
Once I defeat him, I'll come back and rescue you."
等我打败他，就回来救你。”
The monkey turned back into a bug and flew down another tunnel.
猴子变回bug，飞进另一条隧道。
Soon he found a second bedroom.
很快他找到了第二间卧室。
This one was dark and gloomy.
这个又黑又暗。
"This must be the demon's bedroom," thought Wukong.
“这一定是恶魔的卧室，”悟空想。
"I'll wait here until the demon goes to sleep."
“我会在这里等到恶魔睡着。”
He landed on the ceiling and waited.
他降落在天花板上，等待着。
A little while later, the Demon of Power came into the room.
片刻后，力量之魔走进了房间。
Wukong could see the bells tied around the demon's neck.
悟空可以看到系在恶魔脖子上的铃铛。
"What a busy day," said the demon. "I'm tired."
“真是忙碌的一天，”恶魔说。“我累了。”
The demon climbed into bed and closed his eyes.
恶魔爬上床，闭上了眼睛。
Soon he was snoring loudly.
很快他就大声打鼾了。
Wukong turned back into himself.
悟空变回了自己。
He plucked a few of his hairs and turned them into fleas.
他拔了几根头发，把它们变成了跳蚤。
The fleas landed on the demon's neck and began biting.
跳蚤落在恶魔的脖子上，开始咬人。
The demon scratched at his neck and rolled over.
恶魔挠了挠脖子，翻了个身。
Then he scratched some more—and more.
然后他又抓了一些——还有更多。
Finally the demon sat up.
魔鬼终于坐了起来。
"Why is my neck so itchy?" he said.
“我的脖子怎么这么痒？”他说。
"Maybe it's these bells.
“也许是这些铃铛。
I'll take them off while I sleep."
我睡觉的时候把它们拿下来。”
The demon laid the three bells on a table.
恶魔把三个铃铛放在桌子上。
A few minutes later he was snoring again.
几分钟后，他又打鼾了。
The fleas turned back into hairs and returned to Wukong.
跳蚤变回毛发，回到悟空身边。
Next the monkey turned the hairs into three fake bells.
接下来，猴子把头发变成了三个假铃铛。
He put them on the table and stuck the real bells in his robe.
他把它们放在桌子上，把真正的铃铛塞进长袍里。
He looked at the sleeping demon.
他看着沉睡的恶魔。
"It's too dangerous to use these bells inside," thought the monkey.
“在里面用这些铃铛太危险了，”猴子想。
"I'll get the demon to come outside, and then I'll fight him."
“我会把恶魔引到外面，然后和他战斗。”
Wukong became invisible and ran back through the tunnel.
悟空隐身了，从隧道跑了回来。
A guard was sleeping next to the cave entrance.
一个守卫睡在洞口旁边。
Wukong sneaked past him.
悟空从他身边溜走了。
Once he was outside, the monkey shouted.
一到外面，猴子就喊道。
"Return the queen right now!
“马上把王后还给我！
If you don't, I'll smash your entire mountain!"
