The elephant pointed at Wukong.
大象指着悟空。
"He's not a demon. He's a monkey!"
“他不是恶魔，他是猴子！”
"He's not just a monkey," said the raptor.
“他不仅仅是一只猴子，”猛禽说。
"He's Sun Wukong. Get him!"
“他是孙悟空。抓住他！”
The lion pounced.
狮子猛扑过去。
Wukong shot out of the cave as fast as he could.
悟空以最快的速度冲出山洞。
He didn't stop running until he was far from the cave.
直到离洞穴很远，他才停止奔跑。
"Whew," the monkey said to himself.
“咻，”猴子自言自语。
"That was close.
“差一点。
I guess when I laughed I broke my concentration.
我想当我笑的时候，我无法集中注意力。
That must have made my disguise vanish."
那一定让我的伪装消失了。”
Wukong returned to his companions.
悟空回到同伴身边。
"Well?" said Wujing. "Is there an army up ahead?"
“嗯？”吴京说。“前面有军队吗？”
"I scared away the entire army," Wukong boasted.
“我吓跑了整个军队，”悟空吹嘘道。
"But there are still three powerful demons on the mountain.
“但山上还有三只强大的恶魔。
They plan to capture Master and, well . . . eat him."
他们打算抓住主人， . . . 吃掉他。"
"Oh!" cried the Tang Monk, nearly falling over.
“哦！”唐僧叫道，差点摔倒。
Wujing caught him.
吴京抓住了他。
"Don't worry, Master," said Wukong.
“别担心，师父，”悟空说。
"We won't let those demons harm you.
“我们不会让那些恶魔伤害你的。
But we do have to destroy them before we cross the mountain.
但是我们必须在翻山越岭之前摧毁它们。
It's good that we discovered their plan before we went up the mountain."
还好我们在上山之前就发现了他们的计划。”
The Tang Monk nodded, wringing his hands nervously.
唐僧点点头，紧张的拧着双手。
Wukong turned to Bajie and Wujing.
悟空转向八戒和悟净。
"Someone needs to help me get rid of the demons."
“需要有人帮我驱除恶魔。”
"I'll go with you," said Bajie.
“我跟你一起去。”八姐说。
"I'll stay here and look after the Tang Monk," said Wujing.
“我会留在这里照顾唐僧。”吴京说。
Wukong and Bajie went to the cave entrance.
悟空和八戒去了洞口。
The monkey pulled out his iron bar.
猴子拔出了他的铁棒。
Bajie raised his rake.
八戒举起了他的耙。
"I'll do all the talking," said Wukong.
悟空说：“我来说。”
"What are you going to say?" asked Bajie.
“你要说什么？”八戒问。
"I'll just ask them nicely to leave," said Wukong.
悟空说：“我会好好地请他们离开。”
He turned to the cave entrance.
他转向洞口。
"Demons!" he shouted.
“魔鬼！”他喊道。
"Leave this mountain now, or we'll knock it down and crush all three of you!"
“现在就离开这座山，否则我们会把它推倒，把你们三个都碾碎！”
For a moment everything was quiet.
一时间，一切都很安静。
Then the lion stepped out of the cave.
然后狮子走出了洞穴。
He towered over the monkey and the pig.
他比猴子和猪都高。
"Why are you out here yelling?" asked the lion calmly.
“你为什么在外面大喊大叫？”狮子平静地问。
"You, the elephant, and the raptor must leave this mountain at once," said Wukong.
悟空说：“你、大象和猛禽必须马上离开这座山。”
"Why must we leave?" asked the lion.
“为什么我们必须离开？”狮子问。
"We're not bothering you."
“我们没有打扰你。”
"Villain!" shouted the monkey.
“恶棍！”猴子喊道。
"I know you're planning to capture and eat the Tang Monk!"
“我知道你要抓唐僧吃！”
"We haven't touched the Tang Monk," said the lion.
“我们没有碰唐僧，”狮子说。
"But you, Sun Wukong—you scared away our entire army.
“可是你，孙悟空，你把我们全军都吓跑了。
You're the villain here."
你是这里的恶棍。”
"I'm not a villain!" shouted Wukong.
“我不是坏人！”悟空喊道。
He raised his iron bar and charged toward the lion.
他举起铁棍，向狮子冲去。
The lion opened his mouth wide, revealing huge, sharp fangs.
狮子张大嘴巴，露出巨大锋利的獠牙。
Wukong swung his iron bar.
悟空挥舞着他的铁棒。
The lion pounced and—<font color="#ffff00"><i>gulp!</i></font>
狮子猛扑过去-<foncolor="#ffff00"><i>一饮而尽！</i></fon>
Bajie's face went white with horror.
八戒吓得脸都白了。
"Yikes!" he cried. "That lion just swallowed Wukong!"
“哎呀！”他喊道。“那只狮子刚刚吞下了悟空！”
The pig ran as fast as he could.
猪尽可能快地跑。
He didn't stop running until he reached Wujing and the Tang Monk.
直到他到达吴京和唐僧，他才停止奔跑。
"What happened?" asked Wujing. "Where's Wukong?"
“发生了什么事？”悟空问。“悟空在哪里？”
"The journey . . . is . . . over," said the pig between breaths.
“ . . . 旅程 . . . 结束了，”猪在呼吸之间说。
"Wukong got . . . eaten!"
"悟空被 . . . 吃掉了！"
"What!" cried the Tang Monk.
“什么！”唐僧叫道。
Bajie shook his head.
八戒摇了摇头。
"We should all just go home."
“我们都应该回家。”
Meanwhile the lion went back into the cave.
与此同时，狮子回到了山洞里。
His chest was puffed out, and he wore a big smile.
他挺起胸膛，脸上带着灿烂的笑容。
"What happened out there?" asked the elephant.
“外面发生了什么事？”大象问。
"Did you scare away Sun Wukong?"
“你把孙悟空吓跑了？”
"Not exactly," said the lion.
“不完全是，”狮子说。
"Well, where is he?" asked the raptor.
“嗯，他在哪里？”猛禽问道。
The lion patted his belly.
狮子拍拍肚子。
"He's in here."
“他在这里。”
"You ate him?" asked the elephant.
“你吃了他？”大象问。
"I did," said the lion.
“我做到了，”狮子说。
The raptor shook his head.
猛禽摇了摇头。
"That was a bad idea."
“这是个坏主意。”
"Why?" asked the lion.
“为什么？”狮子问。
"Sun Wukong is immortal," said the raptor.
“孙悟空是不朽的，”猛禽说。
"He's probably still alive inside you."
“他可能还活着。”
"Yes, I am still alive!"
“是的，我还活着！”
Wukong suddenly shouted.
悟空突然喊道。
"It's nice and warm in here!"
“这里很暖和！”
