"Who are you?" the monster asked the monkey.
“你是谁？”怪物问猴子。
"What are you doing here?"
“你在这里做什么？”
"I am Sun Wukong, king of the Fruit and Flower Mountain," said the monkey.
“我是孙悟空，果花山之王。”猴子说。
"I'm helping the Tang Monk reach the Western Paradise.
“我在帮助唐僧到达西天。
Five hundred years ago, I caused a lot of trouble in Heaven.
五百年前，我在天堂惹了很多麻烦。
Now I'm here to cause a lot of trouble for you!"
现在我是来给你添麻烦的！”
"I remember you," said the monster.
“我记得你，”怪物说。
Wukong pulled out his iron bar and swung it.
悟空抽出他的铁棍，挥了挥。
Poof! The monster vanished.
噗！怪物消失了。
Wukong leaped into the air.
悟空腾空而起。
He looked in every direction but didn't see the monster anywhere.
他四下张望，却没有看到怪物。
"That monster said he remembered me," thought Wukong.
“那个怪物说他记得我，”悟空想。
"He must be from Heaven.
“他一定是来自天堂。
I'll go up there now to see if any spirits are missing."
我现在就上去看看有没有鬼不见了。”
Wukong soared higher and higher until he reached the southern gate of Heaven.
悟空飞得越来越高，直到他到达天堂的南门。
"Greetings, Wukong," said the guard.
“你好，悟空，”卫兵说。
"There's a monster on Earth causing trouble for the Tang Monk," said Wukong.
悟空说：“地球上有个怪物在找唐僧的麻烦。”
"I think the monster is a spirit who escaped from Heaven.
“我认为怪物是从天堂逃出来的灵魂。
Is anyone missing?"
有人失踪了吗？”
The guard sent a messenger to check.
卫兵派了一个信使去检查。
A moment later the messenger returned.
过了一会儿，信使回来了。
A god was with him.
神与他同在。
"You found the Wood Wolf Star," said the god.
“你找到了木狼星。”神说。
"Who?" asked Wukong.
“谁？”悟空问。
"The Wood Wolf Star is a wolf spirit who lives in Heaven," said the god.
“木狼星是生活在天堂的狼灵。”神说。
"He escaped 13 days ago, and I've been looking all over for him."
“他13天前逃跑了，我一直在到处找他。”
Wukong rubbed his chin.
悟空揉了揉下巴。
"That makes sense," he said.
“这有道理，”他说。
"The monster kidnapped a princess 13 years ago on Earth.
“13年前，怪物在地球上绑架了一位公主。
Thirteen years on Earth is equal to 13 days in Heaven."
人间十三年，等于天上十三天。”
The god nodded. "Yes. Let's go.
神明点点头。“是的。我们走吧。
I'll help you catch the Wood Wolf Star."
我帮你抓住木狼星。”
Wukong returned to Earth with the god.
悟空和神一起回到了地球。
From the sky the god called down, "Wood Wolf Star!
天神从天上叫道：“木狼星！
Come up here at once!"
快上来！”
Wukong saw a small splash in a river below.
悟空看见下面的一条河里溅起了一点水花。
The monster leaped out.
怪物跳了出来。
The monster turned into a wolf and flew up to the god.
怪物变成了一只狼，飞向上帝。
The wolf looked nervous.
狼看起来很紧张。
"You will be punished!" said the god.
“你会受到惩罚的！”上帝说。
He turned and led the wolf back up to Heaven.
他转身领着狼回到天堂。
Wukong flew to the Precious Image Kingdom and went into the palace.
悟空飞到宝像王国，进了皇宫。
A big celebration was taking place.
一场盛大的庆典正在进行。
The king and queen were both hugging their daughter, Princess Hundred Flowers.
国王和王后都抱着他们的女儿百花公主。
The princess saw Wukong and smiled.
公主看到悟空，笑了。
"Father, Mother—this is Sun Wukong.
“父亲，母亲，这是孙悟空。
He's the monkey spirit who rescued Sha Wujing and me earlier."
他就是刚才救了我和沙无景的猴精。”
The king and queen bowed.
国王和王后鞠躬致意。
"We can never thank you enough," said the queen.
“我们对你感激不尽，”王后说。
"You and your friends have made us very happy."
“你和你的朋友让我们很开心。”
"It was nothing at all," said Wukong with a laugh.
“这根本没什么，”悟空笑着说。
"We save people from monsters and demons almost every day."
“我们几乎每天都从怪物和恶魔手中救人。”
He looked around.
他环顾四周。
"Where's the Tang Monk?"
“唐僧呢？”
The king looked at the ground.
国王看着地面。
"Didn't your friends tell you?
“你朋友没告诉你吗？
He is really a tiger."
他真的是一只老虎。”
"Nonsense!" said Wukong.
“胡说！”悟空说。
"That monster turned him into a tiger, that's all.
“那个怪物把他变成了老虎，仅此而已。
Where is he?"
他在哪里？”
The king and queen led Wukong out of the hall.
国王和王后领着悟空走出大厅。
They went down a flight of stairs and arrived at the palace dungeon.
他们下了一段楼梯，来到了皇宫地牢。
A large tiger sat in a cage.
一只大老虎坐在笼子里。
"Don't worry, Master," said Wukong.
“别担心，师父，”悟空说。
"I'll change you back into yourself."
“我会把你变回你自己。”
Wukong recited a spell.
悟空念了一个咒语。
Bright light surrounded the cage for a moment.
明亮的光线包围了笼子片刻。
The Tang Monk was back!
唐僧回来了！
Wukong grabbed the bars and twisted them apart.
悟空抓住栏杆，把它们拧开。
"Thank you, Wukong," cried the monk.
“谢谢你，悟空，”和尚喊道。
He took the monkey's hands in his own.
他用自己的手握住猴子的手。
"I never should have told you to leave.
“我不应该让你离开。
Will you continue the journey with us?"
你会和我们一起继续旅行吗？”
Wukong smiled. "We will reach the Western Paradise together."
悟空笑道：“我们一起去西天。”
