"How will we defeat Sun Wukong?" moaned the Jade Emperor.
“我们怎么打败孙悟空？”玉皇大帝呻吟道。
"I sent our entire army, and they couldn't arrest him!"
“我派出了我们整个军队，他们抓不到他！”
"Perhaps we can ask the sage Erlang to capture him," said Guanyin.
“也许我们可以请圣人二郎抓住他。”观音说。
"Yes," said the Jade Emperor. "Erlang is very powerful."
“是的，”玉皇大帝说。“二郎非常强大。”
He turned back to the messenger.
他转身面向信使。
"Go to Plum Mountain.
“去梅子山。
Ask Erlang if he'll help us."
问问二郎能不能帮我们。”
Wukong stood in front of the waterfall with his cheering subjects.
悟空和他欢呼的臣民站在瀑布前。
"Our king has just defeated an entire army from Heaven!" said the gibbon.
“我们的国王刚刚击败了来自天堂的整个军队！”长臂猿说。
"I hope the Jade Emperor learned his lesson," said Wukong.
悟空说：“我希望玉皇大帝吸取了教训。”
"He and his army are no match for—"
“他和他的军队不是对手——”
"Sun Wukong!" a deep voice boomed.
“孙悟空！”一个低沉的声音响起。
Wukong looked up.
悟空抬起头来。
A large man was coming down from the sky.
一个高大的男人从天而降。
The apes and other monkeys ran and hid.
猿类和其他猴子跑着躲起来。
"I am Erlang," said the man.
“我是二郎，”那人说。
"The Jade Emperor sent me to arrest you."
“玉皇大帝派我来抓你。”
Wukong laughed. "The Jade Emperor's entire army couldn't defeat me.
悟空笑道。“玉皇大帝的全军都打不过我。
What do you think you're going to do?"
你想做什么？"
"I am going to take you back to Heaven," said Erlang.
“我要带你回天堂，”二郎说。
"And you will be punished!"
“你会受到惩罚的！”
Waving his iron bar, Wukong leaped at Erlang.
悟空挥舞着铁棍，扑向二郎。
Clang! Erlang blocked the bar with his sword and then struck back.
当当！二郎用剑挡住了酒吧，然后反击。
Wukong jumped onto a cloud to get out of the way.
悟空跳到云上让开。
Erlang leaped into the air.
二郎腾空而起。
He shook his body and suddenly grew much bigger.
他摇晃着身体，突然变得更大了。
Wukong laughed. "I can do that too!"
悟空笑道。“我也可以！”
He shook his body and grew just as big as Erlang.
他摇晃着身体，长得和二郎一样大。
Clouds swirled and wind blew as the two giants fought in the sky.
两个巨人在天空中搏斗，云雾缭绕，风起云涌。
Their weapons banged together all through the night.
他们的武器整晚都在碰撞在一起。
They were still fighting when the sun rose the next morning.
第二天早上太阳升起时，他们还在战斗。
"This fight could last forever," thought Wukong.
“这场战斗可能会永远持续下去，”悟空想。
"I should try a different plan."
“我应该尝试不同的计划。”
Wukong struck at Erlang one last time and then jumped back down to Earth.
悟空最后一次击中二郎，然后跳回地球。
He turned himself into a sparrow and perched on a branch.
他把自己变成一只麻雀，栖息在树枝上。
"Erlang will never find me now," thought Wukong.
“二郎现在再也找不到我了，”悟空想。
He looked up and saw a hawk.
他抬头看见了一只鹰。
The hawk swooped toward him.
老鹰向他猛扑过去。
"Oh no!" thought Wukong. "That's Erlang!"
“哦，不！”悟空想。“那是二郎！”
Wukong dived into a stream.
悟空跳进了一条小溪。
He turned himself into a fish and swam in the water.
他把自己变成一条鱼，在水里游泳。
But then a crane flew over the stream.
但是后来一只起重机飞过小溪。
The crane swooped down at the water.
起重机猛扑向水面。
Its mouth was wide open.
它的嘴巴张得大大的。
Wukong shot out of the stream.
悟空冲出小溪。
He changed back into himself and ran down a hill.
他变回了自己，跑下了一座山。
"I'll turn myself into a temple," he thought.
“我要把自己变成一座寺庙，”他想。
"Then, if Erlang tries to enter, I'll bite him!"
“那二郎要进去，我就咬他！”
Wukong's eyes became windows, and his mouth became a door.
悟空的眼睛变成了窗户，他的嘴变成了门。
He turned his tail into a flagpole.
他把尾巴变成了旗杆。
A moment later Erlang came down the hill.
过了一会儿，二郎从山上下来了。
When he saw the temple, he scratched his head.
当他看到寺庙时，他挠了挠头。
"Hmm," said Erlang.
“嗯，”二郎说。
"I never saw a temple with a flagpole before.
“我以前从未见过有旗杆的寺庙。
This must be Wukong.
这一定是悟空。
I'll kick in that door."
我会踢开那扇门。”
"Oh no!" thought Wukong. "He'll break all my teeth!"
“哦，不！”悟空想。“他会打碎我所有的牙齿！”
Wukong changed back into himself and ran.
悟空变回自己跑了。
Erlang was right behind him.
Erlang就在他身后。
Up in Heaven the Jade Emperor, the queen, and Guanyin watched the chase.
在天上，玉皇大帝、皇后和观音观看了追逐。
The sage Laozi came over to them.
圣人老子向他们走过来。
"What's going on?" he asked, looking down.
“怎么回事？”他低头问道。
"That monkey, Sun Wukong, ate all the peaches from the garden," said the Jade Emperor.
“那只猴子，孙悟空，吃了花园里所有的桃子，”玉皇大帝说。
"Then he defeated our entire army.
“然后他打败了我们整个军队。
Erlang is trying to catch him now."
二郎现在想抓他。”
"I can help," said Laozi.
“我可以帮忙，”老子说。
He took a metal ring off his arm.
他从手臂上取下一个金属环。
He aimed carefully and hurled it down to Earth.
他仔细瞄准，把它扔向地球。
Clunk! The ring hit Wukong on the head.
当当！戒指打在悟空的头上。
The monkey looked dizzy for a moment and then fell to the ground.
猴子看起来晕了一会儿，然后倒在地上。
